Day 4 - Lizard Point, Cornwall

Lizard played an important part in the history of modern communications.
Marconi's famous wireless experiments took place here in 1901.

This place was also a notorious place for shipwrecks and stormy weather in the early days,
so a Lighthouse was built in 1619 to guide the ships along the English Channel.
